The Eruv is sponsored this week in honor of Tzvi Gavriel ben Nachum Yisrael, Howie Shapiro.  Howie is making a siyum on all of Shas this week.   Howie was a founding member of the eruv.  He was our first construction manager.  He has since overseen the construction of eruvin in a number of cities, contributing to Jewish life  throughout the Western US.    Yasher Koach, Howie.  We are proud of you.

  • Michael Shvartsman in honor of Ross Golding for this first week of Tevet. Ross is a real friend and Shaliach. Through his kind act of generosity, I was able to purchase my first pair of tefillin earlier this year. Now I am extending the mitzvah by honoring Ross through our LA Eruv.
  • Harlan Schwartz in loving memory of his beloved brother, Yoel ben Avraham, A”H (Dr. Joel  Schwartz) whose 13th Yahrzeit is on the 9th of Tevet. May his neshama have an Aliyah.  Cosponsored with the Witkin Family.
