Shabbat Vayigash – 5786

December 26, 2025 : 12:18 pm

The Eruv Truck is Dying

When it dies we go down until we can replace it.  Please make a contribution now.

The Eruv truck is on its last legs. The crew is holding it together with spit, string, lots of roadside motor oil and bandaids. Without a Truck we don’t have an Eruv. Please help now.

Please make a contribution to our capital campaign. If we get $250 on average from each family on this list, we will have the funds to cover it. If you can do more, please do so.

Share this with your WhatsApp groups and friends. Help us replace the truck now.

7 Tevet 5786

The Eruv is UP.

Harlan Schwartz is sponsoring the Eruv for the 17th Yahrzeit of his beloved brother and best friend (who I miss terribly) on the 9th of Tevet, Dr. Joel Schwartz (Yoel ben Avraham). Dr. Schwartz visited me 76 days in a row when I was in a life-threatening illness at the hospital almost 25 years ago, and was one of three doctors who were instrumental in my survival, as well as all the people in the community who daven for me, especially the women. And, a few people who do not want to be named who spent hours saying Tehillim for me outside the doors of the ICU.

This Week’s Repairs:

  • Sierra Vista & St. Andrews: Removed branch hanging on the line
  • 405 Fwy and Sepulveda/Greenleaf: Line down

Weekly, Monthly and Annual co-sponsorship opportunities are available.
