The Los Angeles Community Eruv was designed and constructed in the merit and memory of Shoyal Aharon ben Herschel Mordechai HaLevi and is dedicated in honor of his 26th Yahrzeit on the 29th of Nissan.  May his Neshama have an Aliyah.

  • 10 FWY and Motor: trimmed overgrowth
  • 101 FWY and Lankershim N Park and Ride: trimmed overgrown pole and installed new pole and line
  • 101 FWY and Lankershim S Park and Ride: Trimmed overgrown poles

The eruv is dedicated by the Jakubovitz Fletcher family in memory of Yehudah ben Chaim Dov HaCohen z”l on the occasion of his 25th yahrzeit on the 13th of Adar.

Thank you to the hundreds of families around the city who stepped up and made it possible for us to purchase a new eruv bucket truck.

  • 405 Fwy & Pico/Olympic: Added a line over Olympic due to homeless encampment fencing changes

The Los Angeles Community Eruv serves every shul and every family in our community. Our eruv makes it possible for our children, our grandparents, and those with unique needs to be fully included in the activities of our shuls.

The LA Eruv needs your support. Ours is the largest and most thoroughly maintained Eruv in the country, and has served as the model for eruvin built throughout the Western United States. The Los Angeles Community Eruv counts on the community to fund its maintenance, updates and operations.

We ask for families to take personal responsibility for supporting the LA Eruv on an ongoing basis. The time to offer your support for the LA Eruv is NOW.
