Shabbat Tetzaveh – 5781

February 21, 2021 : 1:18 am

For Shabbat:
February 26-27, 2021
15 Adar 5781

The Eruv is UNCHECKED.

The eruv is sponsored this week by Mrs. Ellen Grabie and family in memory of her mother, Rochel bas Shmuel Chaim Halevi (Rachel Oberman), A”H, for her 7th Yahrzeit, 17th of Adar.

The eruv is also sponsored this Shabbos by Howard & Marni Witkin in the memory of Marni’s father, Sidney Z. Litwack, Shmuel Zanville ben Meir Zelig, for whom the Eruv is also dedicated.  He designed and sketched all of the required engineering drawings for fence posts, footers, connectors, lines etc.  His generous commitment of time, wisdom, and artistic input were responsible for the permit submissions that led to our original approval from the state and federal regulatory agencies.  His designs have since been used in Eruvs around the country. His 8th Yahrzeit was 2 Adar.  May his Neshama have an Aliyah.

Weekly, Monthly and Annual co-sponsorship opportunities are available.

The Los Angeles Community Eruv (LA Eruv) was built to enhance the experience of Shabbos in our community.

Increased togetherness, better access to shul, additional options for the young and elderly – all are facilitated by an eruv.

Whether there is a reliable eruv is one of the first questions a young family asks about a neighborhood.

Our LA Eruv is one of the few institutions that serves our city’s entire Shabbos-observant community.

We are grateful to have support from a wide spectrum of shuls throughout the city.
