NOTE:  A few weeks ago, when the LA Eruv was damaged and went down on a Friday, we were reminded of how strongly the community relies upon the LA Eruv to enhance the experience of Shabbos for each of our families.

We have been offered a $20,000 matching gift if we can raise $20,000 by the end of the year.

Eruv crew member Emile Pesso, Emile Rafael ben Esther Golda, is having a swab drive on Monday October 24 to locate a compatible kidney donor.

The eruv is sponsored in honor of the yahrzeit on 20 Tishrei for the Neshama of Sinaitour bat Shookroulah, Mrs. Laitin’s mother, by the Laitin family.

The eruv is also sponsored by the Eruv Committee for a refuah shleimah for Rabbi Dovid Gruman, Chaim Dovid ben Miriam.
